We're looking for a Data & AI Specialist to join our team. You'll work as a lead practitioner within cross-functional teams, using data and AI technologies to create impactful solutions. We're looking for someone able to use data and AI to transform businesses and improve people's lives.
You'll be at the forefront of our data initiatives, bringing technical expertise and strategic thinking to help realise our client’s data and AI ambitions.
What you are responsible for
- Development and implementation of data and AI technology within client projects
- Designing and overseeing the creation of data pipelines, machine learning models, and AI-powered solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data and AI capabilities into existing products and services
- Ensuring best practices in data governance, privacy, and ethical AI development
- Collaborating with the wider Futurice Data and AI community and helping to grow the Data/AI practice in the UK
Some of the things we expect to see
In this role, you’ll tackle complex, real-world problems and determine the best tools and techniques to reach effective solutions. A strong technical foundation is essential, but just as important is your ability to adapt to the challenge and creatively employ a range of data and AI technologies. Here’s what you’ll need in your toolkit:
- A practical understanding of Machine learning, and AI to guide you through analysis and model-building as needed.
- Familiarity with tools like Python, R, or SQL to help you shape and communicate insights.
- You’ll have worked work with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and techniques like RAG will help you build innovative solutions.
- Some understanding of data pipelines and software development practices, with hands-on experience with Git or similar tools.
- Comfort in describing, estimating, and recommending solutions to clients, contributing to proposal development when needed.

- Competitive salary benchmarked externally and internally for salary fairness: our Lead level banding is £75,000-£100,000
